Tottenham 0-2 Man City: Haaland taps home opener before late penalty

Manchester City came from behind twice to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 and close the gap on Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.

Erling Haaland scored the opener for City in the 20th minute, tapping home from close range after a Riyad Mahrez cross. However, Tottenham equalised just before half-time through a Son Heung-min header.

City dominated the second half and eventually found a winner in the 73rd minute when Mahrez converted a penalty after a handball by Cristian Romero.

The win takes City within five points of Arsenal, who have a game in hand, and keeps their title hopes alive.

Tottenham remain fifth, four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

The match was played in front of a sell-out crowd at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and was broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and on the USA Network in the US.
